Chocolate Cream Cheese Brownies

3 tablespoons Butter
4 oz. semi-sweet chocolate
2 Eggs
3/4 cup Sugar
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
1/2 cup All-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon Baking powder
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon

Melt butter and chocolate together, set aside to cool. In a large bowl, beat eggs with a whisk until foamy. Add sugar and beat until well blended. Add re-maining ingredients, including melted chocolate, and stir to combine.

Cream Cheese Mixture

2 tablespoons Butter (softened)
4 oz. Cream Cheese
1/4 cup Sugar
1 tablespoon All-purpose flour
1 Egg
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract

With an electric mixer, cream butter and cream cheese. Beat in remaining ingredients.

 

Preheat oven to 350°. Grease 9” square baking pan. Make chocolate and cream cheese mixtures separately. Spread half of the chocolate mixture evenly in the pan. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over top. Pour over remaining chocolate mixture and swirl layers gently with a butter knife. Bake at 350° for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center just barely comes out clean. Cool completely before cutting. Store in the refrigerator.
